Axelle-Ingrid Kouam is a lawyer in Projects, Corporate M&A and Real Estate, advising on the legal aspects of international project development across the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors in Europe and Africa, with a particular focus on the OHADA region. Her practice also extends to the CEMAC and UEMOA regional frameworks, as well as the European Union.
She advises on share and business transfers, acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations and restructurings. She assists entrepreneurs and investors in structuring their transactions, drafting articles of association, shareholders’ agreements and commercial contracts, as well as preparing and reviewing all corporate and transactional documentation, including due diligence.
She also practices in real estate law and investment transactions across Africa and Europe, with a focus on legal structuring, and the analysis of contractual issues related to real estate assets.
Prior to founding AIKM Law Firm, Axelle-Ingrid Kouam gained experience with leading international and French law firms in Paris, a Luxembourg-based firm, as well as within a leading banking institution in Cameroon.
